Team Gillman Honda North Houston’s Premier Honda Store is seeking to add to its elite Internet sales team. We are searching for a driven sales consultant to assist the customer experience and execute sales transactions. Superior communication skills are highly recommended. Trust and respect for the individual and a commitment to team harmony and success are requirements. The new professional will have to offer the finest product available: brand new vehicles with the highest quality pre-owned inventory in the marketplace. Training and support is plentiful and consistent. Previous automotive experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Representatives spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options
  • Proficient Phone Skills and ability to have candid and detail phone conversations with potential customers
  • Attention to details, excellent communication skills via phone, text, email, video and social media
  • Sales Representatives commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicles and technology
  • Sales Representatives test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features
  • Complete quotes and explain financing/leasing options for New and Used vehicles
  • Follow up with prospective customers and return email / voicemail
  • Support on-line customers by setting appointments
  • Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads

Qualifications/Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed.
  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
  • Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Basic computer, email, text, social media and internet proficiency
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
  • Weekend availability is needed as well as some evening hours
  • Valid U.S. Driver's license
  • Bi-Lingual is a plus
