Service Drive Buyer Assistant – Automotive Dealership - Greater Houston Area

Job Responsibilities 

• Scanning vehicles from service drive into our internal system, updating info and pictures for our Buyer to be able to appraise and contact clients. 
   
• Set appointments and coordinate with Retention Director and Buyer. 
• Scan and assist to appraise 250+ cars a month from our service drive. 
• Follow the Team Gillman process and procedures for responding to all incoming internet (email), phone, text, and chat leads. 
• Manage task lists to ensure follow-up process is being executed on a daily basis. 
   
• Actively search opportunities through our current client base, data mining. 
• Follow up on trades/purchases from the dealership that we acquire through the Service Drive. 
• Coordinate vehicle purchases/pickups with Buyer. 
• Learning, understanding and adhering to scripts and our process. 
• Active participation in department meetings and training.  
• Working together with a team to reach department and store goals. 
• Meeting with the manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis. 
• Updating daily reports used in retention department. 

Qualifications/Requirements 

• Valid Driver License 
• Self-motivated to exceed expectations and strive for excellence 
• Customer service experience a plus, will would consider training the right candidate. 
• Highly proficient computer skills and navigating multiple internet sites including social media 
• Proficient in Excel and Office.  
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
• Professional, ethical, and respectful 
• Ability to respond to all personality types with professionalism.
