Job Description:

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative and engaging content strategies across our social media channels for our dealership located in the greater Houston Area. This is a full-time position does not allow for freelance or homebase.

You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to conceptualize, create, and distribute compelling content that resonates with our target audience. Your primary goal will be to increase brand visibility, drive traffic, and foster community engagement through innovative and on-brand social media content.

Responsibilities: 

1. Develop and execute social media content calendars aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand identity.
2. Create high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
3. Produce a diverse range of content types, including photos, videos, graphics, GIFs, memes, polls, stories, blogs and live streams.
4. Collaborate with internal Marketing Director to gather content ideas, insights, and assets for social media campaigns.
5. Monitor social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to stay ahead of the curve and incorporate new ideas into content strategies.
6. Manage social media communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering positive interactions.
7. Track and analyze social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversions, and sentiment, and use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and improve results.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to inform content decisions and strategy adjustments.

 Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field experience.
2. Proven experience as a social media content creator, preferably in a similar industry or role.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing creative and engaging social media content across multiple platforms.
4. Proficiency in graphic design, photo editing, and video editing tools/software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
6. Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
7. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
9. Passion for social media, digital marketing, and staying current with industry trends and developments.
