Collision Center Estimator/Foreman – Auto Dealership

Accuracy, honesty, and attention to detail; if you have these qualities AND want to make a great living putting them to use; then our dealership has an opportunity for you. We are looking for an individual who can be our Body Shop’s estimator/foreman, you will work with some of the best collision center managers and technicians in the business to ensure that repairs are estimated properly and delivered as promised. Our goal is to always exceed expectations.

Prior experience as an estimator or in a customer service role and/or foreman in a body shop is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare honest, accurate and complete damage estimates for customers
  • Inspect damaged vehicles thoroughly using standard written procedures
  • Estimate repair costs and the anticipated time needed to complete them
  • Monitor repairs as they are made and track costs, labor and materials
  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up
  • Coordinate and communicate actions within the dealership and the collision center

  • Help direct and schedule activities of technicians
  • Help schedule repair work and assign it to technicians with matching skill levels
  • Help ensure that repairs are assigned to technicians in a consistently objective manner
  • Provide technical support for, and assist technicians as needed
  • Help ensure that all repair work is done correctly and in an acceptable time frame
  • Coordinate resolution of customer complaints keeping customer satisfaction and department profitability in mind
  • Comply with and enforce all Safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an auto body repair facility
  • Working knowledge of body repair methods
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and dependable
  • Safety and customer service focused
  • Strong computer and internet skills 
  • Experience with CCC1 and working with insurance DRP a plus

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.
